The City of Reading’s Yard Waste Collection program will begin on Monday, March 24, and continue through the spring, summer, and fall seasons. Residents are encouraged to schedule their yard waste collection in advance to ensure timely pickup.
The yard waste collection schedule is as follows:
- Mondays: Northeast Reading and Hampden Heights.
- Tuesdays: South of Penn Street, East Reading, Hessian Camp, and 18th Ward.
- Wednesdays: Northwest Reading, Northmont, Riverdale, and Glenside.
To schedule a collection, residents can:
- Call the Streets Division at 610-655-6285.
- Call the Citizens Service Center at 1-877-727-3234.
