The City of Reading announces Dumpster Day, a city-wide residential clean-out initiative, scheduled for Saturday, May 17, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. This event aims to facilitate community-wide clean-up efforts and promote a cleaner, greener environment.
Dumpster Day will feature eleven designated locations throughout the city, providing residents with convenient access to dispose of bulky items and declutter their homes. The locations are as follows:
- Baer Park
- West Oley and McKnight
- Hampden Boulevard and Perry Street
- 10th and Chestnut
- 3rd and Spruce
- 18th and Forrest
- 10th and Chestnut
- Reading Iron
- Pear and Elm
- Centre Park Artifacts Bank on 5th Street
