Albright College is proud to announce the launch of Albright Illuminates: Conversations that Spark Change, a new virtual conversation series designed to engage students, alumni, faculty, staff, and community members through accessible and thought-provoking discussions.
The series will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 30, at 6 p.m., with a virtual conversation between Sue Perrotty, local business leader and Albright Alumna, and Dr. Debra M. Townsley, president of Albright College. Together, they will explore the theme of transformation and leadership, sharing insights from their personal and professional journeys, and discussing how transformational change impacts leaders across industries.
The second conversation in the series will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 12, at 6 p.m. with a much-anticipated update on the Gingrich Library, hosted by Albright’s Vice President for Advancement, James Gaddy, and featuring a lecture by Dr. Matthew J. Palczynski. The lecture will focus on the significance of Albright’s Gingrich Library building and Brutalist architecture.
“Albright Illuminates is an invitation to students, alumni, faculty, staff, and community members to come together in conversation and learn from voices that inspire,” said Dr. Townsley. “It’s about sparking new ideas, building connections, and highlighting the ways Albright continues to grow and thrive.”
The Albright Illuminates series will take place every other month via Microsoft Teams and will feature leaders, innovators, and changemakers in open conversations with opportunities for audience Q&A.
Both events are free and open to the public. Registration is required. To sign up and receive the virtual access link for the first series, please visit Albright Illuminates Virtual Lecture Series.
