The Reading High School Innovation Academy is a new STEM-focused campus designed to inspire innovation, problem-solving, and career readiness for students in grades 10-12. Students will be equipped with academic, technical, and personal skills for success while connecting learning to real-world workforce needs through university partnerships and work-based experiences.
The Reading High School Innovation Academy will:
- Serve 750 to 1,000 students. These students will remain enrolled as Reading High School students, maintaining access to extracurricular activities at the main campus.
- Offer four specialized pathways: Engineering & Design, Computer Science/Information Technology, Health & Biomedical Science, and STEM in Human Services.
- Feature modern learning spaces, including science and tech labs, a media center, an outdoor classroom, and a full gymnasium.
- Emphasize innovation, collaboration, and high expectations to help students develop confidence, resilience, and a purposeful vision for their future.
Although the Reading High School Innovation Academy opened in March, the first students will be enrolled for the 2026-27 school year.
