Be a Commute Hero This April

Be a Commute Hero This April

From Commute PA

This April, the fate of the planet (and your commute) is in your hands. In honor of Earth Day, Commute PA is officially launching the Earth-a-palooza challenge, inviting residents to stop driving alone and embrace their commute superpower.

By opting for sustainable travel methods, participants not only cushion the blow of rising gas prices to keep money in their pockets but also enter for a chance to be recognized as an “Ultimate Hero” with a major reward.

The mission: Become an ultimate hero

To qualify for the title of ultimate hero, commuters must log at least four trips during the month of April using any of the following “superpower” modes:

The reward

Doing good for the Earth has its perks. At the end of the month, four lucky ultimate heroes will be randomly selected to win a $100 Tango Gift Card.

“Every trip logged is a victory,” said Matt Boyer, Commute PA Executive Director. “We want to show the community you don’t need a cape to be a hero, you just need a better way to get around. Whether you’re sharing a ride or working from your home office, you’re making a measurable difference.”

Join the league

Ready to find your superpower? Commuters can record their progress and find resources to help them switch gears by visiting CommutePA.org or calling 1-866-579-RIDE. Let’s combine our powers this April and make a lasting impact!
