From Adalyn Rose Foundation
This Mother’s Day, the Adalyn Rose Foundation is creating a space where motherhood is honored in all its forms. The organization will host a sold-out Mother’s Day Tea at the Reading Public Museum, offering a meaningful and supportive experience for mothers who have experienced the loss of a baby or child.
While Mother’s Day is often associated with celebration, it can be one of the most difficult days of the year for bereaved mothers. In response, the Adalyn Rose Foundation has designed an annual event centered on connection, remembrance, and compassion.
The Mother’s Day Tea, offered free of charge to attendees, will provide a thoughtfully curated experience including food, live music, and a variety of healing-centered offerings. Mothers will have access to remembrance activities, opportunities to create keepsakes in honor of their children, and access to gentle self-care experiences, such as massages, a flower bar, and even memorial tattoos.
“This day can feel incredibly heavy for mothers who are grieving,” said Chloe Ciferri, Founder and Executive Director of the Adalyn Rose Foundation. “We wanted to create a space where their motherhood is acknowledged, where their children are remembered, and where they can be surrounded by others who truly understand.”
Beyond the activities, the heart of the event is the opportunity for this community of mothers to come together. The gathering creates space for shared stories, quiet reflection, and meaningful connection, allowing attendees to support one another while honoring both their children and their identity as mothers.
From hospital-based support and therapy resources to remembrance events and peer connection, the foundation ensures that no family has to walk this journey alone, from the very first moments and all those that follow.
