From Boscov’s Department Store
In recognition of Memorial Day, Boscov’s Department Store is proud to announce its upcoming “Honor Our Heroes” event, a special three-day fundraising and shopping event taking place both in-store and online Saturday, May 23, through Monday, May 25, at all Boscov’s locations.
This event honors our nation’s fallen military heroes and the 1st responders serving our communities by supporting nonprofit organizations that provide critical services, resources, and support to military and first responder families.
Customers making a $5.00 donation will receive a 15% off shopping pass that can be used during the event, making it the perfect opportunity to save on summer essentials while giving back, with 100% of the $5.00 donations going to the partnering non-profit organizations.
“We are pleased to honor these important organizations,” said Jim Boscov, Chairman and CEO of Boscov’s. “Through this event, we provide an opportunity for customers to make a meaningful difference in the lives of military families and our community members while also enjoying a great shopping experience.”
“The courage and sacrifice of those who have served have made America’s promise of freedom possible,” said Brea Kratzert Todd, WWP vice president of business development. “Supporters like Boscov’s and their customers empower us to honor the strength and resilience of veterans and service members. With the support of a grateful nation, we can bring every warrior home — in mind, body, and spirit.”
“As we reflect this Memorial Day, we’re grateful to partner with Boscov’s and their customers to honor those we’ve lost and to stand beside the service members, veterans, and families who carry that legacy forward,” said Robin Kelleher, co-founder and CEO of Hope For The Warriors. “Every $5 donation helps strengthen the network of care our community depends on — providing critical support, connection, and resources when it’s needed most.”
“Boscov’s continued commitment to our scholars this Memorial Day means everything. The children of our service members who made the ultimate sacrifice deserve every opportunity to build the futures their parents fought to protect, and partnerships like this make that possible. We are so grateful to Boscov’s for this impactful campaign, which serves as a powerful reminder to our families that their loved ones are not forgotten,” said Lily Long, Director of Development, Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation.
