From City of Reading
The City of Reading is issuing a final reminder to businesses located within the City Revitalization and Improvement Zone (CRIZ) that the deadline to submit their required annual state and local tax report is June 15, 2026.
The report details certain state and local taxes paid during the 2025 tax year and is required by Pennsylvania law. Businesses that fail to submit the report by the deadline will be subject to a non-compliance penalty.
“We want to ensure every business within the CRIZ has the opportunity to meet this requirement before the deadline,” said Mayor Eddie Moran. “I encourage businesses that have not yet filed their report to do so as soon as possible and take advantage of the free assistance available.”
For the second consecutive year, the City of Reading Revitalization and Improvement Zone Authority (CRRIZA) is offering free assistance through an accounting firm. To schedule an appointment, email CRIZ@readingpa.gov or call 610-655-6286.
Additional information and reporting instructions are available on the City’s website at readingpa.gov.
