From Breast Cancer Support Services of Berks County
Breast Cancer Support Services of Berks County (BCSS) is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2026 Dorothy Klausing Bentley Scholarship.
Dorothy Klausing Bentley was a Berks County resident and a dedicated member and supporter of Breast Cancer Support Services. Each year, three scholarships are awarded to direct relatives of breast cancer survivors who reside in Berks County and are pursuing higher education through a two-year, four-year, or graduate degree program.
The 2026 Dorothy Klausing Bentley Scholarship recipients, each receiving a $500 scholarship in Dorothy’s memory, are:
- Eugene Booth, Wernersville, graduate of Conrad Weiser High School, attending the University of New Haven
- Logan Cammauf, Mohrsville, graduate of Schuylkill Valley High School, attending Millersville University
- Amelia Schmidt, Mohnton, graduate of Governor Mifflin Senior High School, attending the Rochester Institute of Technology
“We are honored to recognize these outstanding students and celebrate their academic achievements,” said Michele M. Reinert, CFRE, Executive Director of Breast Cancer Support Services of Berks County. “Dorothy’s legacy of compassion and support continues through these scholarships, helping students pursue their educational goals while honoring the strength and resilience of their families.”
