From Experience Reading & Berks County
Experience Reading & Berks County invites the community to celebrate the final weekend of the 2026 FIFA World Cup at the official Pennsylvania World Cup Fan Zone Reading, hosted at the Reading Arena (Santander Arena), on Saturday, July 18, and Sunday, July 19.
Admission to the Reading Arena Fan Zone is free; however, soccer fans must register in advance for no-cost tickets to the matches they plan to attend inside the arena. The final weekend offers one last opportunity to experience the excitement of the world’s biggest sporting event in a comfortable, climate-controlled setting — without the massive crowds, lengthy security lines, or high parking costs associated with host-city venues.
Outside the arena, Penn Street will come alive with a festival atmosphere featuring food vendors, interactive games, a kids’ play area, youth street soccer tournaments powered by 3v3 Anywhere, and an exceptional lineup of free live entertainment.
Music lovers can enjoy performances spanning mariachi, reggae, indie, and alternative rock, highlighted by nationally recognized artists including Sugar Ray, best known for hits such as Someday and Every Morning, along with acclaimed bands The Main Squeeze and Ax and the Hatchetmen. The variety of styles and sounds ensures something for every musical taste, making the Fan Zone a destination not just for soccer fans but for anyone looking to enjoy a fun weekend of outstanding entertainment.
“This final weekend is about much more than watching championship soccer,” said Heather Zimmerman, President of Experience Reading & Berks County. “We’re bringing together world-class competition, incredible live music, family activities, local food, and our community’s welcoming spirit in one unforgettable celebration. Whether you’re a lifelong soccer fan or simply looking for a fun summer weekend, the Pennsylvania World Cup Fan Zone Reading is the place to be July 18 and 19.”
Fans are encouraged to reserve their free match tickets before arriving at the arena. Registration is required for entry into the arena to watch the matches, while Penn Street festivities and live entertainment are free and open to the public throughout the weekend.
