In late June 2026, Helping Harvest Fresh Food Bank added two new members to its Board of Directors.
Hyo Jin “Jinnie” Lee, Esq., an Associate at Barley Snyder, is an attorney who primarily focuses her practice on helping clients in the food and agribusiness sector. She is also a Le Cordon Bleu-trained pastry chef with experience writing cookbooks, teaching baking classes, and working in catering.
Andrew “Drew” Laskowski, the Chief Financial Officer of Berks Community Health Center, brings with him 25 years of fiscal experience working with nonprofit organizations. Additionally, he previously served on the board of Facing Hunger Foodbank in Huntington, WV.
“I’m thrilled to have yet another opportunity for members to join our Board who bring with them a diversity of professional and community experiences that will be instrumental as we look to the future of the food bank. This will be valuable as we continue to work on our new strategic plan,” said Helping Harvest President Jay Worrall.
This spring, Helping Harvest unveiled its new strategic plan, a roadmap that will shepherd the organization through 2030. Its Board and staff will be instrumental in the implementation of that plan.
