The 2026 Oktoberfest festival in Munich opens on Saturday, Sept. 19, and an exciting new album has been timed to be released to the fun-loving Oktoberfest crowd just in time for the party!
“The Oktoberfest Album,” by Kline, Lewis & Meixner, (Dave Kline, Dave Lewis, and Alex Meixner), “The Alpine Power Trio,” has just been released worldwide on all major digital music download and streaming platforms. The album serves up 15 fun party tracks of alpine-inspired music with fused influences from traditional and contemporary Oktoberfest music, Euro-techno, EDM, schlager, après-ski, country, and rock music. Summed up, “The Oktoberfest Album” by Kline, Lewis & Meixner is a sing-along, chant-along, clap-along, dance-along romp, sway-along, and stomp-along album that’s sure to entertain everyone looking for that special Gemütlich experience.
Eight of the 15 tracks on the album are original works by the trio, including “Here’s to Everybody at Oktoberfest,” a quintessential chant-along song tribute to everyone and everything of Oktoberfest; “The Glacier Yodel,” a serene alpine song that inspires one to yodel; “The Woodworkers Oberek” a simple tune inspired by the traditional woodcarvers of the Alps and the folkloric legends that fuel their imaginations; “The Dutchman and His Beer,” a song portraying a hillbilly dude’s approach to Oktoberfest drinking and falling hopelessly in love with hops; “The Yodel Round or Fugue U,” a yodel-along song; “Two Sisters and One Wiener,” a song about Wiener Platz running low on food at Oktoberfest; “The LaLa Song,” a song that pays tribute to the South American connection to Oktoberfest; and “Our Happy Polka,” a chant-along song.
The other tracks include “Jux Polka,” a rousing version of a traditional polka; “Bier Hier,” a cover of a much-beloved beer song; “Hop Sa Sa,” an old school song that gets people chanting, clinking their glasses together, and swaying; “This is How to Yodel,” a yodel-along song; “Country Boy, (Radio Version),” “Country Boy, (Extended Version With Calls),” and “Country Boy, (Extended DJ Version Without Calls),” not one, not two, but three different versions and covers of the classic John Denver song “Thank God I’m a Country Boy.”
