Ten Royals to Attend Phantoms 2026 Training Camp

The Reading Royals, proud ECHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and Lehigh Valley Phantoms, announced that 10 players signed to the club’s 2026-27 roster received tryout invites to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms 2026 Training Camp.

Royals invited to Phantoms Training Camp – 10 (signed contract with/acquired by REA – pro season):

*Second-straight year attending Phantoms Training Camp (3) / **Third-straight year attending Phantoms Training Camp (1)

The Phantoms Training Camp roster also includes nine former Royals who appeared with the club in previous seasons.

Former Royals attending Phantoms Training Camp – 9 (season(s) with Reading):

The Lehigh Valley Phantoms open its Training Camp with the team’s first practice at PPL Center on Tuesday, Sept. 22.

The Phantoms will play three preseason games, including two at home. The exhibition schedule begins on the road on Friday, Sept. 25, at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins with multiple contracted Royals expected to be in the lineup. The Phantoms debut at PPL Center on Saturday, Sept. 26, against the Hershey Bears and will conclude the preseason schedule on Tuesday, Sept. 29, hosting the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
