Attendees will be tickled pink with this free event, which includes mocktails, fun activities, and an expert panel discussion
Join Reading Hospital’s Community Wellness Department for mocktails and candid conversations during “Let’s Talk, Breast Health” on Saturday, Oct. 3. The free event is open to the public and will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Scottish Rite Cathedral, 430 S. 7th Ave., West Reading, Pa.
“Let’s Talk, Breast Health” is a supportive and friendly event where women of all ages can learn and have fun. Grab a family member, friend, neighbor, or coworker and enjoy a morning together with mocktails, heavy hors d’oeuvres, informational tables, and pinkalicious activities, including a selfie station. Attendees will also receive a free gift box with an assortment of treats.
Hospital staff will be available to help attendees schedule a mammogram, and Rep. Johanny Cepeda-Freytiz will host an informative panel discussion from 11 a.m. to noon with four Reading Hospital medical experts, who will discuss the importance of receiving annual mammograms and answer attendee questions about breast health. Speakers include:
- Michele Baum, BSRS, RT – Manager, Mammography and Breast Health Center, Reading Hospital
- Michael Brown, MD – Breast Surgical Oncologist, Tower Health Medical Group
- Leah Ernst, BSN, RN – Clinical Research Nurse, Reading Hospital
- Cassandra Gulden, MS – CGC Genetic Counselor, Reading Hospital
