Exeter Township School District to Host Internet Safety Presentation

To help parents navigate the increasingly complex world of their child’s social media, the Exeter Township School District is partnering with the Exeter Community Education Foundation and the Berks County Intermediate Unit to host a county-wide parent presentation and mental health fair on Wednesday, Oct. 21, at 7 p.m., at Exeter Township Junior High School.

Digital safety expert Katie Greer, a nationally-recognized speaker who has been featured in USA Today, TIME Magazine, Good Housekeeping, Parents Magazine, CNN, and more, will give parents a practical, current look at the digital world kids are navigating, including:

Representatives from Berks County mental health agencies, including Safe Berks, Tower Behavioral Health, RUOkay, and Inspired Wellness and Concern, will be available with information and resources; free babysitting and activities for children will be provided; and food trucks will be on site with refreshments available for purchase.
