Holiday Toy Run to Benefit CHOR Youth & Family Services

Holiday Toy Run to Benefit CHOR Youth & Family Services

From CHOR Youth & Family Services

Community members are invited to help bring holiday joy to local children and teens during the Holiday Toy Run benefiting CHOR Youth & Family Services, formerly the Children’s Home of Reading, on Sunday, Oct. 18.

Participants will gather at Meadowbrook Country Club, 1153 Rick Road in Reading. Rider check-in will take place from 11 a.m. to noon, with kickstands up at 12:30 p.m. All legal motor vehicles are welcome. Riders will travel with a police escort and are expected to arrive at CHOR’s main campus, 1010 Centre Ave. in Reading, around 1 p.m.

Participants are asked to bring $25.00 worth of new, unwrapped toys on the day of the event. The ride will travel to CHOR’s main campus, with arrival anticipated at 1 p.m., helping launch the organization’s annual Holiday Gift Drive.

The Holiday Gift Drive brings together individuals, businesses, churches, and community groups to help fulfill holiday wishes for children and youth served by CHOR. Those unable to participate in the ride can still support the drive by requesting gift tags or making a donation.
