26th Annual Jewish Food and Cultural Festival

26th Annual Jewish Food and Cultural Festival

From Reform Congregation Oheb Sholom

The 26th annual Jewish Food and Cultural Festival will be held on Sunday, Nov. 1, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Reform Congregation Oheb Sholom, 555 Warwick Dr., Wyomissing, just a block away from Starbucks and the Walmart/Redner’s shopping center on State Hill Road.

Brisket, hot dogs, corned beef, pastrami, whitefish salad, rye bread, challah, apple cake, black and white cookies, and more will be available. Take out or dine in the newly renovated social hall. See ohebsholom.org for the full menu.

There is no admission charge. Guests are welcome to order meals in advance at ohebsholom.org with indoor pickup. Credit cards are preferred when purchasing meals on-site. There will be dining areas throughout the building.

Cantor Stuart Binder will perform music in the Jewish tradition. There will also be a wide assortment of raffle baskets.

There’s much more to the festival than food. The event gives the community a chance to learn about Judaism and its vibrant culture. Tour the sanctuary with Rabbi Brian Michelson and hear the blowing of the Shofar. The interactive cultural room invites guests of all ages to take part in hands-on games and activities to help explain traditions.
