United Way of Berks County is pleased to welcome Pete and Rachel Rowley to its Board of Directors. Led by Pete Connors of Connors Investor Services, the board guides United Way’s mission and helps shape strategies that improve the lives of individuals and families across the community.
Pete Rowley serves as Commercial Banking Regional Manager for Tompkins Bank & Trust. His community involvement includes serving as a board member of ProBerco and as a member of Alvernia University’s President’s Advisory Council and the Reading Area Community College Foundation.
Rachel Rowley is Vice President of Commercial Banking with JPMorgan and serves as a board member of the Olivet Boys & Girls Club of Berks County, the Reading Area Community College Foundation, and Western Berks Ambulance Association.
“We are excited to join United Way’s Board of Directors,” said Pete and Rachel. “Berks County is where we are raising our family and building our careers. We care deeply about the community, and we have seen firsthand the difference United Way makes. We look forward to working with fellow board members, volunteers, and partners to help make Berks County an even stronger place to live, work, and raise a family.”
The couple previously served on the organization’s Campaign Cabinet for eight years and led its Leadership United program for two years, helping to grow a key donor group for the organization.
“Pete and Rachel have already demonstrated what it means to be committed community leaders,” said Tammy White, President of United Way of Berks County. “They bring valuable business experience, strong community relationships, and a genuine passion for helping others. They believe in United Way’s mission, and they invest their time and energy in making it happen.”
