This holiday season, Clay on Main will transform into a magical place full of art and handmade goods. Their gallery space is converted to a pop-up gift shop, featuring dozens of local makers and artists. From needle-felted cat toys made from locally raised wool to handmade soaps, one-of-a-kind jewelry, and ceramics, there is something artfully crafted for every style and taste.

Join your neighbors for a fun opening reception on Sunday, Nov. 1, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., to celebrate the beginning of the holiday season. Clay on Main will offer light refreshments, free gifts with purchases, and raffle baskets to benefit the nonprofit community art center.

Clay on Main’s gift shop will also offer extended hours this year, giving folks more time to shop their truly unique offerings. Holiday hours will run from Nov. 1 to Jan. 9 and are as follows: Sundays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesdays from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Wednesdays from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.* and 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Fridays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.* and 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.*

In addition to the opening reception, Clay on Main has planned several events throughout the holiday season, including a house plant sale, live holiday music, artist demonstrations, and workshops, which can be found on their website (clayonmain.org) and social media pages (@ClayOnMain).

Lastly, stay tuned for updates on Clay on Main’s new year-round program, Pop In Painting, a paint-your-own pottery experience like no other and private crafting parties perfect for family get-togethers around the holidays.
