In celebration of National Cat Day on Oct. 29, Berks Community Television is collaborating with the Animal Rescue League of Berks County, Humane Pennsylvania, One by One Cat Rescue, and Pawsitive Hearts Pet Therapy and Rescue to help these adoptable pets find their forever homes!

Hi, I’m Mina! I’m a 1-year-old, long-haired beauty with a gentle heart and an old soul.
My story began beneath a house in North Reading, where I was rescued just two days before giving birth to my three precious babies. I spent my first chapter being a mommy, making sure my little ones were safe and loved. Now that they’ve all found their forever homes, I’m hoping it’s finally my turn.
I’m a quiet, gentle girl who enjoys watching birds, being brushed, and indulging in my favorite wet treats. I get along with calm cats and respectful children, and I’m learning to share my space with a big dog, too. I dream of a peaceful home where I can curl up, feel safe, and finally be someone’s baby instead of taking care of my own. I’m fully vetted and ready for my forever family.

Hi, I’m Opie! I’m a petite little sweetheart, somewhere between 1 and 3 years old, with a big personality and the cutest squeaky meow.
My story began at Opportunity House, where I was found as a tiny kitten with open wounds on my front legs. Thankfully, I was rescued, given the care I needed, and made a full recovery. Now I’m healthy, happy, and ready for a forever family of my very own.
I love playing, cuddling, eating, and, most importantly, being the center of attention. I’m fully vetted and get along well with other cats and children, too.
I’ve come a long way from that little injured kitten. Now all I’m missing is someone to love me forever. Could that someone be you?
