ProBerco is proud to announce that its float, themed “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown,” was awarded First Place in the Non-Business Category at the 2026 King Frost Parade in Hamburg.

The award-winning float was the result of a true team effort involving program participants, employees, volunteers, and community supporters who worked together to bring the beloved Charlie Brown theme to life. Participants and staff dedicated countless hours to designing, painting, and creating the Charlie Brown character displays that became the centerpiece of the float.

In the days leading up to the parade, employees and volunteers came together to prepare the float, arranging hay and straw bales, decorating, stringing lights, and putting the finishing touches on a display that delighted parade-goers throughout the community.

ProBerco would also like to thank everyone who rode on the float and helped distribute snacks and treats along the parade route, creating a memorable experience for children and families attending the event.

Special appreciation is extended to the following local businesses whose generous donations helped make the parade experience possible: Fisher’s Produce for donating hay bales and straw, and Goods, Utz, Sturgis Pretzels, and R.M. Palmer Candies. Their contributions of snacks, treats, and parade supplies helped bring the festive spirit to life and enhanced the experience for everyone involved.

The parade also illustrates the extraordinary commitment of ProBerco employees who consistently go above and beyond to create meaningful opportunities and memorable experiences for the individuals they serve.

“Events like the King Frost Parade remind us why working at ProBerco is so rewarding. Every day, our team has the opportunity to make a difference, transform lives, and build stronger connections within our community,” said Jessica Penchard, Development & Public Relations Director.

ProBerco congratulates everyone involved in this year’s award-winning entry and looks forward to continuing its tradition of community participation, creativity, and inclusion for years to come.
