A Community Conversation

What Role Should Religion Play in Public Education? On Saturday, March 22nd at 1 PM, the Wyomissing Public Library will host a Community Conversation on the subject, and the public is invited to attend.
The conversation will be led by Michelle Mart, PhD, Professor of History at Penn State Berks, former Reading City Councilor Chris Daubert, and Attorney F. Donald Smith.  They will discuss the historical perspectives of public education and the relationship to religion, the role the courts have played, what the impact has been locally. Following their presentations, the conversation will be open to the public for questions and comments.
