The Reading Public Library Foundation announces that its 15th annual Cocktails and Classics event raised nearly $125,000.
Director of Advancement and Communication, Carolyn Shultz Spano, said the event that took place on Friday, Sept. 26, drew in over 300 guests at the DoubleTree by Hilton Reading.
Proceeds raised from the event directly support programs, services, and the daily operation of the Reading Public Library.
“The proceeds raised fuel everything we do at the library, from innovative programs and services to the welcoming spaces where our community connects and grows,” said Shultz Spano. “Thanks to this incredible support, we can continue to meet the evolving needs of Reading with creativity, compassion, and impact.”
Although the fundraiser is over, there is still time to support the library’s programming and services. The Foundation accepts cash, checks, or online gifts. More information can be found at rplfoundation.org.
