The City of Reading invites residents, partners, and media to the Fieldhouses Reimagined Open House Series — a celebration of enhanced energy efficiency, historic preservation, and community comfort. Four historic fieldhouses have been upgraded to better serve the community while reducing environmental impact.
Saturday, Oct. 11
- Pendora Park Fieldhouse | 10 a.m. to noon
- Baer Park Fieldhouse | 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Tuesday, Oct. 14
- Schlegel Park Fieldhouse | 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Tuesday, Oct. 21
- Keffer Park Fieldhouse | 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Hosted by the City of Reading in partnership with Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy efficiency and infrastructure modernization.
Through a forward-thinking partnership, the City of Reading has revitalized four historic fieldhouses to better serve residents and reduce environmental impact. These upgrades include energy-efficient systems, improved insulation, and enhanced accessibility — ensuring these community spaces remain vibrant and sustainable for generations to come.
