From Miller-Keystone Blood Center
For more than 50 years, January has been recognized as National Blood Donor Month, a time to honor the extraordinary generosity of volunteer blood donors. Unlike many medical treatments that can be manufactured, there is no substitute for human blood. It can only come from individuals who choose to roll up their sleeves and give.
In recognition of National Blood Donor Month, the Miller-Keystone Blood Center is once again inviting its donors to help grow the lifesaving community through its Bring a Friend campaign. From Jan. 1 through Feb. 28, MKBC blood donors are encouraged to bring along a family member, co-worker, or friend who has never donated with MKBC before. After successfully donating, each will receive a $25.00 electronic gift card, a small thank-you for making a meaningful difference and helping our community’s blood supply.
On behalf of everyone at MKBC, along with its regional hospitals and the patients it serves, thank you. Your dedication and compassion directly support lifesaving care every single day. MKBC is grateful for your generosity and proud to celebrate you as lifesaving heroes!
