Berks County-based band Dave Kline & The Report has partnered with Cheers Bistro at the DoubleTree Hotel by Hilton Reading, 701 Penn St., Reading, PA, to present a series of pre- and post-game Cheers Spirit Parties with live music by the band for two hours before evening home games or for two hours after afternoon home games which will be played at Santander Arena across the street from the hotel. Delicious food and refreshing beverages will also be served at Cheers Bistro during each Cheers Spirit Party. Classic rock and dance music are on the music menu for each event.
Here is the schedule:
- Sunday, April 26: Game begins at 2:30 p.m., band plays from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Sunday, May 10: Game begins at 2:30 p.m., band plays from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Saturday, May 30: Game begins at 6:30 p.m., band plays from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Sunday, June 14: Game begins at 2:30 p.m., band plays from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Sunday, July 5: Game begins at 6:30 p.m., band plays from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Sunday, July 12: Game begins at 6:30 p.m., band plays from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Fans will be treated to free parking in the parking lot connected to the hotel, and no cover charge at the bistro!
Dave Kline & The Report is Dave Kline, Dave Lewis, Rob Lienti, Terry Trout, and Doug Kauffman. The first four guys are all inducted honorees of the Berks County Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and Doug is slated to be honored and inducted to the Hall of Fame this year at a ceremony at First Energy Stadium on Wednesday, Aug. 12.
The Pennsylvania Benjamins are Berks County’s International Arena League, (IAL Football), team. The International Arena League is a new professional indoor American football league launching its inaugural season in April 2026, featuring 10 teams across the United States and Europe. It focuses on fast-paced, high-scoring, and fan-oriented indoor, or arena-style, games.
