Annie M. Gaul Concert Series – Feat. Heartland Marimba Ensemble
November 1 @ 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm
Experience the distinctive sound and energy of the Heartland Marimba Ensemble, part of Heartland Marimba, an organization dedicated to advancing the classical marimba through performance, education, community outreach, and the creation of new music. Founded in 2014, Heartland Marimba has grown from a summer festival into a nationally active organization that has presented more than 200 concerts, commissioned more than 30 works, and published more than 80 pieces for marimba and percussion.
This performance offers audiences a chance to experience the warmth, versatility, and rhythmic excitement of the marimba through an ensemble committed to expanding the instrument’s repertoire and introducing it to new audiences.
