Guzman to Host Information Session on PA Skill Games

From Office of State Rep. Manny Guzman

State Rep. Manny Guzman, D-Berks, announced that he will host an informational session on the status of gaming machines in Pennsylvania, also known as skill games, including recent guidance and plans to begin removing the machines from businesses across the commonwealth.

The event, held in coordination with Pace-O-Matic, the developer of these gaming and gambling machines in the state, will provide an opportunity for the community to receive the latest information, ask questions, and share concerns.

“With the current 120-day period following the Pennsylvania Supreme Court’s decision set to expire on Oct. 13, there is a great deal of uncertainty in our community. I want to provide information about what to expect,” Guzman said.

“It is important to have this conversation because business owners, employees, distributors, manufacturers, organizations, and families are being impacted. I encourage anyone in the community who is interested in this issue to join me.”

The event will be held on Thursday, Oct. 8, at 6 p.m., at Reverb Club, 1402 N. 9th St., Reading.
