Melanie Manwiller recently joined Fleetwood Bank as a Vice President and Relationship Manager. She adds over 31 years of industry experience to the bank’s already esteemed business banking team. For nearly 20 of these 31 years, Manwiller has succeeded as a Relationship Manager with consistently high production while maintaining a highly extensive portfolio.
She has also worked as a successful Business Development Officer and an accomplished Branch Manager. This was made evident when Manwiller was chosen to mentor and develop new business banking associates at a variety of different banking levels and still met or exceeded all monthly goals of her own during that time. Manwiller began her banking career as a Teller Supervisor. She has received educational credits through the American Institute of Banking (AIB), in addition to continuous training.
“Melanie’s extensive portfolio speaks for itself and will pair nicely at a bank where loan decisions are made quickly and locally by a team that lives within our great community,” said Timothy Snyder, CEO and President of Fleetwood Bank. “Her thorough knowledge of bank products, coupled with the attentive customer service she provides all of her business clients, align with the personable service that Fleetwood Bank is known for.”
As a Wyomissing local and Schuylkill Valley High School graduate, Manwiller is passionate about giving back to her community. She is a faithful volunteer for United Way of Berks County’s Day of Caring each year, having helped out at Hope Rescue Mission and Opportunity House most recently. In 2008, she partook in Leadership Berks, a program designed to train and develop individuals to serve in nonprofit leadership roles within Berks County. She has served on the Golf Committee for Prospectus Berco, as well as the event committee for Habitat for Humanity. Manwiller is also a member of the Greater Reading Chamber Alliance, regularly attending meetings and workshops for Women2Women in specific.
“As a Berks County native born in Reading, becoming part of the team of the only bank headquartered in Berks County has felt like coming home,” says Manwiller. “Doing business with a local team that values personability, convenience, and genuine relationships is what my clients will find at Fleetwood.”
