2022 Dancing with the Reading Stars
April 22, 2022 @ 5:30 pm - 9:30 pm$85
Inspired by the hit television show, this annual event showcases “stars” representing Berks County’s diverse community at a fun-filled and inspiring evening. The pairs dance and raise money to further Yocum’s mission to provide arts education throughout the county and beyond.
Ten dance pairs are participating this year, and each pair is excited for their live debut on DoubleTree dance floor on Friday, April 22. This year’s star couples are: Ammo Brown and CJ Darden; Pete Clauser and Dawn Dietrich; Clay Gray and Courtnie Nein; Guy and Ryan Griffin-Silveri; Aaron Rineer and Paul Scalzo; Tasha Santiago and Bibi Balaguer; Luci Schaeffer and Tim Sanger; Brad and Catherine Weisman; and The Yocum Institute Board will be performing a group routine.
Funding is raised through sponsorships, donations, and votes for the dance pairs. Votes are cast in $10 increments and can be made online at www.yocuminstitute.org/dwtrs by mail, and over the phone at 610.376.1576. Voting is currently underway and concludes the night of the event on April 22 after all pairs perform. Recognition is given for the “Fan Favorite” based on the most votes and the pair who raises the most funds.
