SUMMARY:Canteen Volunteer
DESCRIPTION:Someone needs to give out snacks with a smile while monitoring the donors and making sure they are doing well after donating. Why not you? \n\n\n\nHave fun meeting new people and helping your community at the same time! \n\n\n\nCanteen Attendants tend to blood donors after the donation process is complete. They offer a drink and a snack while ensuring the donor is feeling well and remains in the canteen for at least 15 minutes. \n\n\n\nVolunteers can help at a variety of blood drives in the community at schools\, businesses\, churches\, or other community organizations. You choose when and where you would like to volunteer. It could be once a month or as often as you would like. Most of the need is during the workday. We are sorry\, but we cannot help fulfill court-ordered adult community service hours. We are not currently working with employment agencies or placement agencies. \n\n\n\nWe are in need of canteen volunteers in Berks County\, Northern Berks County\, Montgomery County\, Chester County\, and the Boyertown area. Every two seconds\, someone needs blood. Please consider helping us make sure it is available.

SUMMARY:All About Animals Summer Camp
DESCRIPTION:Everyone loves animals\, right? Join us for the All About Animals camp at Hawk Mountain to take a deep dive into every group of animals\, big and small. We will hike through the forest\, play games\, make crafts\, meet live animals\, and even travel to an offsite location to explore! \nOur Summer Nature Camps\, designed for youth entering grades 1st – 5th\, get kids outdoors\, developing a deeper connection with the natural world through fun and educational activities. We provide a professional environmental education specialist for each camp and limit group size based on optimal teacher-student ratios. Meeting live animals\, hiking woodland trails\, role-playing\, making art and craft projects\, learning from scientists and special presenters\, exploring natural areas\, telling and listening to stories\, and conducting experiments fill the campers’ days. Off-site trips may be included to study water creatures or explore regional highlights. \nCampers must be able to hike up to 2 miles over uneven and rocky terrain.\n$325; $275 for Members

DESCRIPTION:Adult Yoga in the Great Outdoors held at Rock Hollow Woods\nMonday Evenings: 6:00 – 7:15 p.m. \nJoin Tracy Wahl for a 75-minute gentle flow yoga class in the great outdoors. Participants will begin by grounding themselves \, then they will honor the summer sunlight by flowing through sun salutations. They will move through sequences to open their hearts\, move their energy\, and dig deeper into specific areas of the body. The practice will close with savasana where participants will use nature to connect with Spirit. \n***Purchase punch card that is good for 4 yoga practices***\nJune 1st\, 8th\, 15th\, & 22nd\nJuly 6th\, 13th\, & 27th\nAugust 3rd\, 10th\, 17th\, 24th\, & 31st\n \nClass is rain or shine\, coverage will be provided if it rains.  \nA non-slip mat is recommended.
