Join us on Sunday, June 8 at 4 pm for a program built around inspirational/aspirational texts, celebrating the spiritual and emotional ideals that bind and connect us all. Most of the settings are by living composers, including James Biery, Kim Andre Arnesen, Kyle Pedersen, as well as a regional premiere by one of our favorite composers, Will Todd. We venture into the ‘popular contemporary’ field, singing music by Dolly Parton, Carly Simon, Stephen Sondheim and Leonard Bernstein. All ticket revenue will be donated to Powerpacks, a ministry of Immanuel UCC that provides food packets during the school year to the six buildings in the Governor Mifflin School District. The packets are handed out during extended school breaks when students do not have access to the school’s breakfast and lunch.
