Abilities In Motion (AIM) is hosting an Assistive Technology event on Tuesday, September 29th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at AIM’s headquarters, 755 Hiesters Lane, Reading, Pennsylvania. Presenters will be Erich Odenweller, from AIM’s Adaptive Esports Program Manager, and Jo-Ellen Bloom, from Safe in Home. Assistive technology encompasses devices, software, and systems that enhance the functional capabilities and independence of people with disabilities, aging populations, or health conditions. AIM’s Independent Living Advocacy & Support Services Team’s goal is to teach people about assistive technology and how it can be used in everyday life.
