Alzheimer’s support group: Understanding and being understood

Are you caring for a loved one living with memory impairment? Keystone Villa at Douglassville and Open Door Training and Development invites you to attend the monthly Alzheimer’s support group for family caregivers. Our next session is Thursday, Sept. 28, at 6:30 p.m., which meets in the Personal Care building at 1152 Ben Franklin Highway E.

Communication with a person with dementia requires patience, understanding, and good listening skills. Learn strategies for successful communication to help you and your loved one understand each other better.
