Director Megan Martin is looking for 3 males, 4 females, & three any gender

Performance Dates: March 14, 15, and 16, 2025

SUMMARY: Play On! is a hilarious story of a theater group trying desperately to put on a play in spite of maddening interference from a haughty author who keeps revising the script. Act I is a rehearsal of the dreadful show, Act II is the near disastrous dress rehearsal, and the final act is the actual performance in which anything that can go wrong does.  When the author decides to give a speech on the state of the modern theatre during the curtain calls, the audience is treated to a madcap climax to a thoroughly hilarious romp.  Even the sound effects reap their share of laughter. • No roles are precast. 
• Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.
• Reading Community Players welcomes both experienced and inexperienced actors. 
• If cast, actors will be asked to become an RCP member.

Video submissions: If you cannot attend either audition date, please submit a video audition to the director at peaceloveandmegan@outlook.com. Introduce yourself with a few sentences and then perform a 1-2 minute contemporary comic monologue. Video submissions will be accepted until December 30th.
