Fleetwood Bank is soon hosting an event that practices budgeting skills and educates local students on our Smart Savers program, where students can earn money for their good grades, so I wanted to bring it to your attention and see if perhaps you would be willing to help spread the word.

The Back To School Bash that we are hosting at our Blandon Branch on Tuesday, August 11 from 4:30 to 7 PM. The event will include free ice cream from Pop’s Malt Shoppe to the first 100 kids, balloon animals, face painting and fun carnival games and activities in a setting that encourages kids to practicing budgeting and their math skills. 

I am sure a lot of local students are already part of our Smart Savers program, where students can earn money for their good grades. Any student already enrolled in our program is invited and encouraged to bring a friend to this event. If their friend isn’t a smart saver they can take advantage of our referral program and we will put $5 into their Smart Saver account once their friend opens a Smart Savers account as well. 

We are also collecting school supplies that will be donated to kids in need throughout Berks County at this event. Anyone who brings a donation will receive a special incentive and collectible gift to take home!
