Come visit the historic 1783 Beidler House for our Spring Open House. Interpreters and volunteers will be on hand to guide visitors through the historic house and talk about what life was like on the property when it was a working farm and mill. Greg Geesaman, a Master Gardener with the Penn State Extension and expert in historical gardening practices, will be one hand to talk about gardening in the Colonial Era. Historical activities will be available around the site throughout the day. Guided walks will leave at 12 and 2 to visit the Aqueduct and learn about the history of Canals as we celebrate the 200th Anniversary of the Schuylkill Navigation.
