The Berks County Genealogical Society is excited to offer another free community history event.

BCGS Road Trip Vol. #2

Saturday, Nov. 14, 2026

Join us for a day exploring several important historic locations in Berks County. Participants will drive their own vehicles from stop to stop, and a guide will provide information once we arrive at each location.

Our stops include:

• Exeter Meeting House – A 1758-1759 stone meetinghouse with ties to the Boone and Lincoln families
• Daniel Boone Homestead – Bring a packed lunch and enjoy our lunch stop
• Mouns Jones House – Dating back to 1716 and recognized as the oldest documented dwelling in Berks County
• Saint Gabriel’s Graveyard – Where we will learn about Andrew Robeson (1654-1720), Pennsylvania’s first Chief Justice, and his 1720 tombstone

The event is free, although donations are greatly appreciated.
