Yocum Institute for Arts Education, in collaboration with the Reading Symphony Orchestra and Westwater Arts, invites Berks County residents of all ages to participate in Berks in Focus: Symphony of a Thousand Images. In celebration of Berks County’s 275th Anniversary, community members are encouraged to submit original photographs that capture the beauty, character, culture, and spirit of Berks County. Images may feature landscapes, historic landmarks, community traditions, local events, or everyday moments that reflect what makes the county unique. Selected photographs will be featured in Berks in Focus: Symphony of a Thousand Images, a one-of-a-kind visual concert on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the Santander Performing Arts Center in Reading, combining live music by the Reading Symphony Orchestra with a community-generated slideshow.
