Berks Nature Presents: Native vs. Invasive

March 29, 2022 @ 5:30 pm - 6:15 pm

Is it invasive or is it native? Come learn about plants that live in Berks County and whether or not they belong here. In keeping with the Longwood Gardens Community Read Program, Miss Tara will introduce Canopy Career Chronicles by Greg Mercer, a graphic novel illustrated by Pat Bradley. Afterwards, Berks Nature will lead a discussion about native and invasive plants in Berks County.
If there is time, attendees will be encouraged to take a quiz to get matched with a “green collar” career, or learn to make a nature journal.

• Audience: Ages 8 through Adult

All attendees will be entered to win a 4-person pass to Longwood Gardens.
