The Friends of Hopewell Furnace cordially invite you to join Genealogist Kristine Parkes, principal of Skeleton Key Genealogy, in an exploration of Mark Bird, Hopewell’s Founder, Iron Master and Patriot. As indicated on the Skeleton Key website, Are you ready to “Locate The Dead?”  The free program will begin at 2 p.m. in the Hopewell Furnace Visitor Center, 2 Mark Bird Lane, Elverson, PA 19520 on Sunday, January 8.
