Fall Family Fun at the Historic Dreibelbis Farm

On Saturday, November 1st, the Dreibelbis Farm Historical Society will host a family-oriented fall program at the Historic Dreibelbis Farm in Virginville. The afternoon will begin at 2:30 PM with “non-scary” hayrides, a bonfire, free hot dogs & s’mores, pick a pumpkin from our pumpkin patch, pumpkin-decorating, apple cider pressing, and children’s activities, like face-painting and family-friendly stories told by a drama group from Kutztown University. The fun at the bonfire lasts through our 5:00 PM closing time. There is a $5 admission donation to benefit the historic farm, (children 3 and under are free). The donation covers all activities and refreshments; on-site parking is free. Because this event has such a large outdoors component, anything more than a chance of drizzle will cause us to cancel.
The 180+ acre farm has been owned by the Dreibelbis family for nearly 250 years. This secluded, intact Pennsylvania-German farmstead has sparked the imagination and has found a special place in the hearts of hundreds of visitors.
The Dreibelbis Farm Historical Society is a non-profit organization whose mission is to preserve and protect the Historic Dreibelbis Farm and to make it available to the public for educational, historical, and environmental purposes. The Historic Dreibelbis Farm is located on Route 143 outside the village of Virginville. GPS Address: 356 Hard Hill Road, Hamburg, PA.
