Our morning will consist of a guided hiking tour through beautiful Rock Hollow Woods. Along the way, our staff will stop and showcase areas that can be utilized during outdoor educational field trips and we hope that you will participate in the activities. Experiences may include team building challenge areas in nature, animal adaptations and artifacts in Jean’s Place, journaling/art in the pine tree cathedral, animal life cycles near the butterfly house and garden, and explorations in the creek and wetlands classrooms. We encourage you to ask any and all questions that you may have!

Here are a few helpful tips for your trip to Rock Hollow Woods:

*Please arrive by 9:00 a.m. Our guided tour will be starting right away and we don’t wish to leave anyone behind. Please park at 615 Rock Hollow Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508. There is a sign at the entrance. Pull in the gravel driveway, proceed around the loop, and park by the log fence or wherever staff directs you.

*Please make sure that you are dressed appropriately for the weather. Our morning will be spent hiking and exploring outdoors. (Hiking boots or comfortable sneakers, no open-toed shoes please.)

*Light refreshments will be provided in our outdoor pavilion as we stop to take a break, but please feel free to bring your own water or snacks.
