Groundhog Day at The Pagoda

Reading’s own groundhog,  “Patty Pagoda,” will emerge on Groundhog Day, Thursday February 2, 2023, at sunrise (about 7:10am), to make her annual prognostication about the next six weeks of winter weather. This 18^th annual observance will take place in the Pagoda parking lot, because the Pagoda remains closed for needed renovations. The event is presented by the volunteers of the Foundation for the Reading Pagoda, and Pagoda-Skyline, Incorporated, and the public is invited to attend.
