Houseplant & Artisan Gift Bingo

Restoring Hope of Berks County will be hosting a Houseplant & Artisan Gift Bingo on Sunday, October 16^th at Grill Fire Company, 739 Mountainview Road, Reading PA. Doors open at 1:00 p.m. and Bingo starts at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $25.00 and can be purchased on-line at Houseplant & Artisan Gift BINGO Tickets, Sun, Oct 16, 2022 at 1:00 PM | Eventbrite. Event proceeds will provide a “hand up, not a hand out” to local middle-income families who have fallen on tough times or have a special need. The mission of Restoring Hope of Berks County is to “construct solutions to address unique challenges of deserving people in Berks County”.

The organization was formed in 2011 after the popular show “Extreme Home Makeover” came to Hamburg, PA. A group of individuals was so inspired by the work done and the family helped, they decided to keep the projects going on a smaller, local level.

Projects have included, but are not limited to, making a home accessible; renovating bathrooms, basements, and kitchens; installing landscaping and fencing; upgrading homes with new windows, paint, flooring, carpeting; and more…
