They offer a drink and a snack while ensuring the donor is feeling well and remains in the canteen for at least 15 minutes. \n\n\n\nVolunteers can help at a variety of blood drives in the community at schools\, businesses\, churches\, or other community organizations. You choose when and where you would like to volunteer. It could be once a month or as often as you would like. Most of the need is during the workday. We are sorry\, but we cannot help fulfill court-ordered adult community service hours. We are not currently working with employment agencies or placement agencies. \n\n\n\nWe are in need of canteen volunteers in Berks County\, Northern Berks County\, Montgomery County\, Chester County\, and the Boyertown area. You choose when and where you would like to volunteer. It could be once a month or as often as you would like. Most of the need is during the workday. We are sorry\, but we cannot help fulfill court-ordered adult community service hours. DESCRIPTION:Berks Book Bonanza is one of the largest book sale operations in the local area\, offering gently used books\, DVDs\, CDs\, vinyl records\, puzzles\, and other items at remarkably low prices of $2.00 or less for general items and specialty materials and collectible books priced as marked. \n\n\n\nThe 2026 Berks Book Bonanza sale will occur on the following dates: \n\n\n\n—      Wednesday\, July 8 from 10:00am-5:00pm ($20 Early Bird Admission) \n\n\n\n—      Thursday\, July 9 from 10:00am-7:00pm \n\n\n\n—      Friday\, July 10 from 10:00am-7:00pm \n\n\n\n—      Saturday\, July 11 from 10:00am-7:00pm \n\n\n\n—      Sunday\, July 12 from 11:00am-5:00pm ($5 bag of books sale) \n\n\n\nNo carts will be permitted inside the building\, but volunteers will be on hand to assist in transporting large orders. \n\n\n\nShoppers should be aware that the sale is cash or check only with no on-site ATMs available. Identification will be required for all check purchases. \n\n\n\nThe sale entrance is located behind the building by the covered ramp.
