SUMMARY:Plant-a-Tree Drive Benefitting Berks Nature
DESCRIPTION:Buy a tree\, plant a tree — support Berks Nature and our local ecosystem in the process!\n\nNow through September 12\, 2026 every tree\, shrub\, and perennial you buy at Riverview Gardens & Gifts gives back. We’ll donate 15% of the purchase price to Berks Nature’s Plant-A-Tree fund\, helping put native trees in the ground across our parks and streams right here in Berks County.\n\nOur goal is to fund 100 native trees for Berks County\, and every plant you take home does double duty — beautifying your yard and supporting trees for Berks County’s parks and streams. Thank you for shopping with Riverview Gardens & Gifts and helping our local ecosystem grow\, one plant at a time.\n\nAbout Berks Nature’s Plant-A-Tree Program:\n\n“Each year\, Berks Nature plants about 1\,000 native trees at local parks\, along streams\, and in support of community conservation projects across the County. Donations made to the Plant-A-Tree Campaign directly support these efforts by funding tree purchases\, planting materials\, and tree maintenance to ensure the long-term success of newly rooted trees.”\n\nBerks Nature is a Berks County non-profit conservation organization that has worked to protect the county’s land\, water\, and natural spaces since 1974. Their work includes preserving land\, protecting local waterways\, maintaining trails and nature preserves\, and connecting the community to the outdoors through educational programs.
