DESCRIPTION:Join us for a truly memorable occasion\, the West Reading-Wyomissing Rotary Club’s Special Berks County America 250 Celebration of Heroes Ceremony July 2 at 1 pm! \nThe moving Celebration of Heroes will feature the presentation of Colors by the Berks County Sheriff Honor Guard\, the Pledge of Allegiance and presentation of the six military divisions flags led by Berks County Veterans Affairs\, the singing of the National Anthem\, the solemn sounding of Taps\, and a thoughtful Moment of Reflection and Honor. Hear impactful remarks from state\, Berks County\, and local leaders\, as well as distinguished community members. Experience history in action as the 1st Pennsylvania Regiment of the Continental Line offers authentic musket salutes\, and performance by the Brandywine Colonials Fife and Drum Corps will bring the spirit of our nation’s past to life. \nFrom June 29 to July 6\, 2026\, stroll through a breathtaking display of over 250 U.S. flags\, each accompanied by an inspirational dedication medallion honoring the heroes who make a difference in our lives.
