The 11th Annual Purchase Party at the Reading Public Museum will be on Thursday, November 13, from 5:30 until 8pm! With over a decade of building a community around the arts, this popular event encourages attendees to vote for their favorite candidate among a group of artwork that the Collections Committee is interested in purchasing for RPM’s permanent collection. Attendees to the Party receive feaux money called “Mengel Voting Dollars” to vote for their favorite artwork. This year’s theme is Pennsylvania Artists and supports RPM’s mission of growing and diversifying the collection while keeping it local! Throughout the event, attendees will also enjoy a selection of premium wines, delicious food, and a whoopie pie bar for dessert. The Purchase Party is a fun event that creates an atmosphere of community and is an excellent opportunity to make your opinion count and interact with Museum staff in an intimate setting.
