The internationally acclaimed Aeolus Quartet returns to Reading for their 16th appearance on the series. The evening’s program will feature Mozart’s String Quartet in D minor, K. 421, and the String Quartet No. 3 by Polish composer Grażyna Bacewicz. For the grand finale, the quartet will be joined by the venerable Donald Weilerstein—founder of the renowned Cleveland Quartet—performing on viola for Dvořák’s String Quintet No. 3 in E-flat Major, Op. 97.
